		<description>I think if you really read the OT a lot of it is trying to find explanations of why bad things happen to people. For instance Sodom and Gommarah. They did not understand how a volcano could wipe out whole cities so they &quot;built a story around it&quot;. To their way of thinking those cities must have been very evil or &quot;God&quot; would not have sent the volcano to kill them all. Same with the flood in their minds the &quot;people whom died&quot; must have been evil in some way so &quot;God&quot; sent the flood to kill them off them, they did not understand and they built a story around it.

However that does not excuse the so-called Christians whom cling to the bible and everything in it because they were told that it is the inerrant word of God.

Use your brains for something beside looking glassy eyed in church and nodding!</description>
