I must point you to a book I recently read titled "How the Republicans Stole Christmas" by Bill Press. This book is primarily about how right-wingers have hijacked Christianity in the current political climate of the US. Press is a liberal Christian and believes in the seperation of church and state, but he also blasts evangelicals; such as Billy Graham, for obsessing about sex.
