		<description>Zulla, in my view spanking is physical abuse. I wasn&#039;t talking about random punches, I was talking about disciplining your children physically in any way. I&#039;m from Sweden, where physical discipline is outlawed, and we have one of the safest, soundest societies on earth. You can teach your kid to be a good person without inflicting pain and humiliation. I&#039;m sure parents for the most part love their children and do what they think is the best for them, but I still think it&#039;s despicable. (Similarly, male circumcision for religious reasons is an abhorrent practice that ought to be outlawed.)
